Compare Car Insurance Prices

To compare car insurance prices correctly, an individual must provide the auto insurer with updated and accurate information concerning their credit score, driving history and vehicle make and model. A comparison requires looking at the uniform type of coverage desired. The three types of coverage are liability, comprehensive, and collision. Liability auto policies are mandatory in all states, but the amount and limitations vary by state. With this and other important information, the consumer will be able to accurately compare a vehicle insurance price against another.

Individual insurers may have the same costs for the year, but offer different down payments, deductibles and monthly payment plans. A driver looking to compare car insurance prices in search for the lowest rate should be aware that collision and comprehensive coverage equate for 56% of the premium price. Comparisons between collision and comprehensive coverage are directly determined by the make and model of the car and its loss history. To accurately compare a car insurance price, the driver must know exactly what type of policy they desire, and their credit score.

The loss history, which relates to the vehicle to be insured, is the ISO or Insurance Services Office calculation given to over 279 cars and trucks annually, stating how often a particular model is stolen and how expensive the replacement or repair of a model after an accident will be. Using loss history for comparison on these 279 cars and trucks results in a given number between 3 and 27, with the higher numbers requiring a higher premium. The driver will have to do a comparison with a similar ISO numerical rating number. To compare a car insurance price premiums between liability costs, the driver must use a standard deductible and a standard legal amount.

Some Christians are hesitant to do quote comparisons, citing that the purchase of car coverage shows they are lacking faith in God. Faith in God would allow Him to provide and protect His children. There is no need to compare car insurance prices, let alone buy the coverage. While the Bible does not specifically address the purchase of insurance, it does address our duty of obedience to our nation's laws and its leaders. Romans 13:1 states "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God". God allowed our leaders to be elected, and allowed them to create coverage laws. It is our job, as followers of Christ, to obey God by obtaining the proper legal insurance if we intend to drive our car on the open road in the United States. Car owners can start the process wisely and compare a car insurance price.
